Janata Sahakari Bank Ltd. one of Maharashtra’s leading cooperative banks, required a reliable and uninterrupted power supply for one of its major branch premises in Pune. Given the sensitive nature of banking operations and the need for continuous IT infrastructure support, a dedicated HT/LT power setup was essential.
Prakash Electricals & Power Solution (PEPS) was entrusted with designing and implementing the entire high-tension (HT) to low-tension (LT) power distribution system, including installation of a 315 kVA transformer suitable for critical banking infrastructure.

Procurement & Installation
Supplied and installed a 315 kVA, 11 kV/433 V transformer, approved under MSEDCL norms
Fabricated a custom transformer chamber with anti-corrosive base and safety barricading
Erection of 11 kV HT poles and overhead line with required isolators and lightning arrestors
Complete earthing system with GI strips and chemical earthing pits to meet safety regulations
Cable Laying & Panel Work
Laid HT armored cables from overhead termination to transformer
Routed LT XLPE armored cables from transformer to the main LT panel within the premises
Designed and installed LT panel with MCCBs, MCBs, volt/amp meters, protection relays, and indicators
Testing & Commissioning
Conducted megger insulation testing, earth resistance verification, and transformer ratio tests
Coordinated with local electrical inspector for safety inspection and approval
Handed over fully functional HT-LT system after successful live testing and load run

Detailed site survey to understand power requirements and space feasibility
Load analysis to determine optimal transformer sizing and distribution layout

The installed HT/LT setup ensured continuous power supply for critical IT systems, vaults, and surveillance equipment.
The dedicated transformer eliminated voltage fluctuation and improved power factor.
The installation met all IE rules and MSEDCL safety standards, with zero non-compliances.
Despite the live environment and space constraints, PEPS completed the entire project in less than 4 weeks, including testing and government approvals.
